Right. First post.

This 70s organza dress photo, which I took for an Ebay auction, also features one of my two full figure mannequins, Gisela. She is made from carved wood, apart from her hands, which are resin.

I wanted to show how full the skirt of the dress was, so I pegged it up onto the backing cloth, and then took this snap of the bodice with the skirt spread out behind it. Normally, my shots of Gisela are relatively straightforward - pop the dress on, click, turn, click, zoom in, click, whip it off, pop something else on, etc.... but I had to take this picture. I like how the form of her arms, head and neck leap out from the busy florals, and how her lips pick up on the corresponding colour in the dress.
